Letter L | Lion & Lollipop + Giveaway

Summer is 47 months old.

Over the last few weeks we have settled into a new routine which I am loving!  Summer and I have spent a lot of afternoon time together and she is really enjoying it, as am I.  She loved our Letter L week and we spent most of our days cuddled up reading and playing certain games over and over.

Her set-up...

Our themes and the majority of our printables are from Jen of Bitty Beginnings on Etsy.

These tracing cards are absolutely adorable and I love incorporating them into our week.

Pre-writing practice...

Dot painting...

Summer still adores these two-part puzzles.  She asks to play "the card game" every time, several times.

Stamping with our alphabet stamps...

I set up a bin of foam shapes to hide her sensory look and find pieces, something new and different for her.

We skipped the dot marker and opted for marker for Spot It!

Kaitlyn loves playdough and being anywhere Summer is.  They worked together cutting and rolling balls of dough for her letter mat, which you can grab for FREE here.

Sorting colored pom-poms...

We also used this sheet to practice counting and adding, which she liked.

I've discussed in previous posts how we are loosely using Confessions of a Homeschooloer's K4 program.  This week's number was "0" and I found these cute sheets for her to try.  At this point, I'm in the process of simplifying our preschool so we may or may not continue this particular program in the fall but for now I'm putting it on hold.

And, now for the Giveaway!
Jen from Bitty Beginnings is offering one of my readers a chance to win her Letter L | Alphabet Learning Pack filled with over 12 activities!  The pack includes the option to print certain activities in either pink/purple or green/blue depending on your child and she details how to prep each activity along with fun ways to play.  Keep checking back for more opportunities to win each week as I share each letter!

I just found your blog and I'm really enjoying it! I am doing geography with my preschool boys this summer and am feeling inspired to continue on after a week off with family visiting. Thanks for posting!!

    1. How fun! We took a break for the summer with my daughter's schedule, but looking forward to starting with the southern states soon!
