Letter F | Frog, Fudgsicle & Flower + Giveaway

Summer is 42 months old.

After taking several weeks off from school-related activities over Christmas, we are finally easing back into a routine with our letter of the week activities.  We picked back up with Letter F and I love seeing Summer's excitement and enthusiasm to learn.  She loves having something to call her own and I enjoy watching her grow and advance over the weeks.

Our set-up...

On our first day, she ran straight for the colander activity.  She fed pipe cleaners into the holes to make many different funny designs.

We used several of our Bitty Beginnings printables, like dot painting...

Two-part matching puzzles, free set here...

Pre-writing practice...

And, sticker fun...she loved this!

I know I say this a lot, but Summer loves any activity that requires scissors.  This week, I let her do this cut and paste activity completely solo--on standby if needed.  She did fabulous and was so proud of her work, immediately running over to show Daddy!

Same deal with her letter crown, though I helped with shapes and tricky parts.

She made letter bracelets for the two of us and LOVED these clip cards from Homeschool Creations!

Went on a letter hunt...

Played with the cutest puzzle...

And, worked on letter identification with this adorable mat.

We finished the week with a fun sensory bin we created together.

And, painted a frog by request.

Now for the Giveaway!

Jen from Bitty Beginnings is offering one of my readers a chance to win her Letter F | Alphabet Letter Learning Pack filled with 12+ activities!  The pack includes the option to print certain activities in either pink/purple or green/blue depending on your child and she details how to prep each activity along with fun ways to play.  Keep checking back for more opportunities to win each week as I share each letter!

  1. I really enjoy following all the activities a d especially cute little Summer. She really concentrates and seems to like everything. So glad She is having fun while learning. ❤

    1. She had a great time and her independence is fun!

  2. Looks like you linked-up again this week at 1+1+1=1. I love your letter theme. I'm thinking about starting something similar, but of course on a smaller scale in a few months. In the meantime, I'll have to follow along with you and Summer. Have an awesome week!

    1. Thanks, Cristi! This system is my take on similar versions I've seen over the years. It has worked well for us for many reasons, mainly keeping me organized and accountable along with giving Summer something exciting to look forward to.

  3. Thanks for creating such a fun activity and for linking up at the #LMMLinkup. Come back often.

  4. This all looks so cute and fun!
